As promised, I have some MAC swatches for you today! Two days ago I posted about the new Archie’s Girls collection and asked if you had any clue which Betty or Veronica item I would swatch and share with you. Who guessed it was Betty’s  Summer Sweetheart Lipglass? I love love love peach or coral shades on my lips, so I was really excited to find this light peach lipglass in my mailbox! A real Laura color, something I’d wear every single day.

I love these kind of colors to tone down my coral colored lipsticks, to wear on its own for more formal occassions or to tone down any brighter colors I may use.

As for Viva Glam Nicki Minaj 2, the guessing was probably a bit easier, since there are only two products involved. Eventually, it was the lipstick waiting to be swatched and reviewed! I must say, this is a very obvious and risky color, not at all easy to pull off! I was happy to try out this color and totally support the idea of the Viva Glam Nicki 2 collection helping people who have to deal with HIV/AIDS.

But the color is totally not “me”. Where I prefer neutrals and wearable colors, this one is the total opposite. I’ll have to find the right occasion to pull out this lipstick, because no way that you’ll see me wearing this to work, an appointment or even for groceries.. Conclusion of this story? Archie’s Girls vs. Nicki Minaj score: 1-0.

Ánd there are least ten other items from the Archie’s Girls collection that I’d like to call mine. The entire Betty collection to be honest.
